Abie Lieber, Advanced Clinical Intern
Ruth Rayek, Advanced Clinical Intern
Abie is a master’s student in the Mental Health Counseling program at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology of Yeshiva University. He is a creative, intelligent, and caring individual who combines real-life wisdom with cognitive-behavioral techniques. Abie also employs an empathic, yet goal-driven and action-oriented style picked up from years of learning under other skilled therapists. This has allowed Abie to become a skilled problem-solver in his own right, becoming adept at helping patients find their own way in life and reach their goals.
Ruth is an international therapist from Mexico, fluent in Spanish and English. She is currently a master’s student in the Mental Health Counseling program at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology of Yeshiva University. Trained in Applied Behavioral Analysis and Crisis Intervention, she has years of counseling experience. Ruth enjoys working with people from different cultures and backgrounds to overcome life's challenges. She utilizes a combined cognitive-behavioral and systemic theories approach to help guide her patients toward achieving meaningful goals.
Selina Singh, Advanced Clinical Intern
Selina is a master’s student in the Mental Health Counseling program at CUNY Queens College. Coming from a South American and Indo-Guyanese background, she and is passionate about helping diverse clients of varying cultures, backgrounds, and identities. Selina is a detail-oriented, analytical, and compassionate provider. She combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with a patient-centered, strength-based approach to curate unique and genuine therapeutic relationships with her patients rooted in trust, vulnerability, and empathy.
In this way, she is motivated and committed to collaborating with her patients to reach their ultimate goals.
